Julia Child said, “People who love to eat are the best people.“ This came true on Thursday night as socialites, celebrities from the film industry, musicians and singers all gathered not only to cheer on their favorite restaurants but also to sample their signature dishes.
The celebrity guest of the evening was the effervescent Samantha, who jokingly declared that she wasn’t present for anything else except the food.
The event saw the glitterati of the city, who were dressed in the best of their attire. This ranged from short dresses to flowy and classy gowns to traditional wear like the classic anarkalis and some sensational saris.
Theatre artist Pooja looked dazzling in a white and gold number, while model Shwetha kept it classy with a short printed skirt and a crop top.
Aavana looked pretty in pink, while Ganesh Venkatraman looked sharp in a grey waistcoat.
