The recently concluded Chennai Fashion Week is the talk of the town. Among the participating labels were Ritu Kumar, Studio 9696, Swathi, Mathusha and Indrajith, whose latest collections searched the ramp, choreographed by Karun Raman. Former Miss India Rochelle Maria Rao, who was the face of CFW, walked the ramp as a showstopper. Another famous face seen was model and actor Parvathy Omanakuttan,l the showstopper for Swathi Purushothaman’s label. Nandita Shwetha and Divya Dharshini also walked the ramp as showstoppers for Ritu Kumar and Studio 9696’s labels, respectively.
The haute-couture event drew fashionistas and industry-biggies by the throngs, all dressed to impress. Chaitanya Rao was spotted chatting with Tina Vincent, while stylist Prajanya Anand mingled with friends and peers. Naveen Kumar was at the event with his wife Malashree, who looked resplendent in magenta, red and gold silk sari.
