The creme de la creme of the city gathered at a five star hotel, which brought four fashion designers from across the country for the Madras Bridal Fashion show organised by Shanmugapriya. Nupur Kanoi, Jenjum Gadi, Rehana and Dev R Nil showcased her signature rolled collar look, the bright colours of a wedding ceremony inspired Jenjum Gadi’s skirts and suits. Designers Dev R Nil, known popularly as the ‘Boys of Bengal’ showcased their collection, which was elegant and understated. The celebrity quotient of the show was high with actress Nadhiya as show stopper for Dev R Nil. Ashok Selvan, Bindu Madhavi, Aishwarya Rajesh and Alisha Andullah also walked the ramp. Billa II actress Parvathy Omanakuttan sashayed down the ramp as well. Sunil Menon choreographed the show. The city’s fashionistas were at their stylish best. Barbara was seen in black and white printed gown and a casual jacket while Alisha and Ameena dazzled in beautiful anarkali suits. Television Actor Vijay Adhiraj was accompanied by his wife Rashna.
