Yashmith plays a key role in Karan’s film

Talking about the film, Yashmith says, “The story revolves around the sequences that happen in one night. I come in the flashback portions. It is an interesting film with several twists and turns. Though it is a short role, I enjoyed working on this project.” The actor is also gearing up for the release of Yendha Nerathilum, a horror-thriller directed by debutant Muthukumar. “The story revolves around four characters played by Ramakrishnan, Leema Babu, Sandra Amy and I. We shot primarily in Chennai and Ooty. We are planning to release the film by September end or October,” says Yashmith. Ask him if he has signed any other film, and he says, “I have been listening to a lot of scripts. I am yet to sign on the dotted line. Yashmith’s next is also a Horror film

Actor Yashmith, who is best known for his work in the hor ror film Yoogan, has wrapped up shooting for his next film, which interestingly, is a film in the horror genre, too. Titled Yendha Nerathilum, this film, directed by debutant Muthukumar, features Adhi Ramakrishnan (of Goripalayam fame) and Leema Babu, in addition to newcomer Sandra Amy . “The script was interesting for me, because the central character in the film is a kid, and the entire story revolves around him,“ says Yashmith, adding that the film was wrapped up just a couple of days ago. “We began shooting on January 29. We shot in Chennai first, and then in Kothagiri. There are only a few portions left -basically patchwork -but the shoot is more or less done.“ Interestingly, what is getting Yashmith noticed is a music video featuring him and Shwetha Shekhar, which was released recently . The video, is a cover version of Chillena from Raja Rani, performed by a city band called Chennai Street Band, and directed by Arun Balaji, for Put Chutney, the group behind the What If Batman Was From Chennai video.
